Mediators are third-party neutrals that work in confidence with all parties to resolve disputes outside of the courtroom. The vast majority of commercial and civil disputes can be resolved with the help of a dedicated and capable mediator.
Ric is a certified mediator under Missouri Court Rule 17, and has received mediation training at the Harvard Negotiation Institute at Harvard Law School.
As a mediator, Ric works hard to help parties identify the true nature of a dispute, the interests at stake for each party, the viability of the claims at issue, and the risks and benefits of continued litigation. This process encourages decision makers to retake control and begin to develop alternatives to litigation that can better serve their needs.
